The Legal Office is a functional department of Yantai Port Group, which is in charge of managerial work concerning legal affairs, contract management, industrial and commercial affairs, etc. Its major responsibilities include:

•  dealing with routine legal affairs, participating in drafting and examining important regulations of Yantai Port Group, and submitting legal opinions concerning major business policies;

•  dealing with legal affairs related to enterprise industrial and commercial registration, trade mark registration, patent application, etc.;

•  carrying out contract management and participating in important contract drafting and reviewing;

•  participating in important economic activities of the subordinate companies of Yantai Port Group, such as merger, division, bankruptcy, investment, leasing, capital transfer, bidding and tendering, important project negotiation, etc., and submitting legal opinions and managing related legal affairs;

•  accepting authorization by the legal representative of Yantai Port Group to participate in litigation and non-litigation activities on behalf of Yantai Port Group.
